  1. CANCELLED: Keep Fishers Beautiful: Roadways & Waterways

    September 8, 2018, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Around Fishers

    Due to rainy weather, this event has been cancelled. Keep Fishers Beautiful’s fall service day returns to beautify the City’s roadways and waterways. The community will help clean up litter along paths and roads and team up with the White River Alliance for the annual White River Clean-Up. All ages are welcome at the White River Clean-Up (parent supervision is required), and volunteers helping on roadways must be 16 years or older. Volunteer groups are welcome!   2. Fishers Farmers' Market presented by IU Health Saxony

    September 8, 2018, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

    The award-winning summer Fishers Farmers’ Market features your favorite local produce, baked goods, and prepared foods from over 55 full and part-time vendors. The whole family will enjoy entertainment, children’s activities, and cooking demonstrations while stocking up on fresh food from local farmers and producers. Parking is available in the Depot and Switch garages to the east and west of City Hall.

    CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. All ability levels are invited to enjoy a hike on ADA-accessible multi-use paths as local bird watcher, Brad Jackson, shows you how to identify various bird songs and trees, and enjoy parts of nature that are often overlooked. Meet at the north entrance parking lot.

  4. Doggie Dip (Fishers YMCA)

    It’s a dog party! The dog days of summer aren’t over yet. Before we drain the pools for annual cleaning, bring your dog in for a swim! Per Health Department regulations, only non-aggressive dogs are allowed in the pool, NO HUMANS! Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. Advance registration: Payment will also be accepted at the event. All proceeds support the YMCA Annual Campaign as we teach kids to swim.

    Safety Day is one way that Fishers Fire & Emergency Services and St. Vincent Hospital is working to educate the public and provide opportunities to improve overall health and wellness in Fishers. The free event welcomes families of all ages for live entertainment and demonstrations, delicious food, and opportunities to connect with local organizations, including police agencies, the Department of Natural Resources, The United States Army, Marine Corp., Navy, National Guard, Air Force, and more.
