1. How can I report property damage?

Please report the damage via the links below:

• Report Snow Plow Damage to mailbox or property 
• Report Vandalism:  This report is intended for situations where someone intentionally damages your property and you have no suspects. 
• Report Injury or Damage to Personal Property at a City Park
• Report Damage to Property:  This report is intended for situations where damage has occurred but is not a result of vandalism and you have no suspects (ex: a grocery cart strikes you car or a rock hits your windshield)

3. Who can I contact about the assessed value of my home?

Please contact the Hamilton County Assessor’s Office at 317-776-9617.

4. My neighbor's tree, fence, etc. is intruding into my property. Can the City help?

This is considered a private dispute and the City does not get involved.  If you need a copy of your plot plan, which shows your property lines, you may request it here.  Please note that the City does not have a copy of every plot plan, but we do have a lot of them!

5. Who can I contact about my property taxes?

Please contact the Hamilton County Assessor’s Office at 317-776-9617.

6. Who is responsible for mowing the easements and rights-of-way?

The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the easement, which includes mowing.

7. Does the City pick up leaves?

While the City does not provide leaf pick up service, there are other options. Residents should contact their trash provider or phone the Noblesville Transfer Station at 317-773-2655.

8. My neighbor and I are having a conflict about a fence Can the City help us?

While the City does not get involved in legal disputes between residents, we can check to see if we have your plot plan, The plot plan has your property lines on it and may be of help to you. Submit a Plot Plan request.

9. Do I need a permit to build a fence?

Probably. The construction of a fence does not require a permit, however most fences encroach into an easement and there are also zoning requirements to consider. To ensure compliance with all codes, we advise you to apply for a permit here.

10. My neighbor and I disagree about which of us owns a tree. Can you help?

This is considered a Civil dispute and the City does not get involved in Civil disputes.
