[ARCHIVED] Four Arrested After Robbing a Fishers Gas Station

(Fishers, Indiana) – Fishers police officers arrested four people suspected of committing an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station located at 9611 Allisonville Road.

At approximately 11:30pm on Monday, August 19th Fishers police officers were conducting surveillance in the area of the Shell Gas Station at 96th Street and Allisonville Road. Officers observed three masked men enter the business. One of the suspects was armed with a long gun. The officers observed the suspects run from the station and enter a white GMC Jimmy SUV. Officers pursued the SUV south into Marion County. The SUV stopped in the 8700 block of Doral West Drive. The female driver and female passenger remained in the SUV and were taken into custody without incident. Three males ran from the SUV and officers pursued them on foot. One of the male suspects was apprehended by one of IMPD’s K-9 Units. The second male, a juvenile, was apprehended a short time later during a search of the area. Officers from multiple agencies searched the area for nearly three hours. The third male remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

The two females and two male suspects were transported to the Fishers Police Department. The suspects were interviewed by Investigators with Fishers and IMPD. All four suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

The gas station employee reported that after entering the station one of the suspects pointed a rifle at him and demanded cash and cigarettes. The employee complied and was not injured during this robbery. The adult male suspect suffered minor lacerations as a result of being apprehended by the
Police K-9. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the Carmel Police Department, and the Indiana State Police assisted in the search and apprehension of these armed robbery suspects.
