[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

Fishers, (Indiana) – Fishers police arrest a man suspected of robbery at a Fishers Kroger Store.


During the early morning hours of July 2, 2018 Fishers police responded to the Kroger Store located at 9799 E. 116th Street (116th Street and Cumberland Road) after an employee reported being threatened by a man stealing merchandise. The employee described the suspect as a black male wearing an orange shirt and black pants. The suspect fled in a green Honda passenger car.

A short time later a Fishers officer observed a green Honda traveling on Brooks School Road. The officer activated his emergency lights and the Honda stopped. A man, matching the description of the robbery suspect, exited the Honda and ran. Officers from multiple agencies searched for the suspect.

Several hours later, officers located the suspect. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Charges:       Robbery Level 5 Felony

                        Theft Level 6 Felony 

                        Resisting Law Enforcement “A” Misdemeanor

                        Possession of Paraphernalia “C” Misdemeanor 


 

Held:              Hamilton County Jail

   

A charge is merely an accusation and the arrested person(s) is presumed innocent until proven guilty
