The City of Fishers has launched its newly redesigned website, offering residents, businesses, and visitors an improved and more user-friendly digital experience. The new website launched on Monday, March 12, and boasts several new features, including:
- Enhanced searchability
- Stronger ADA-compliant features
- Automatic translation to over 100 languages
- Improved mobile responsiveness
- Intuitive and streamlined design
With over 502,000 website views in 2017, the new site focuses on greater usability and functionality. The redesigned website showcases the City’s most visited online pages, including GIS and map features, job postings, the news center, and a new City Service Center page allowing residents to pay utility bills and court fines, report concerns to city officials, register to receive emergency alerts through the CodeRED system, and more.
Along with the redesigned website, the City also introduced Viewpoint Cloud, an all-in-one citizen service platform for permitting, licensing, inspections, and enforcement. The platform allows users to manage and request city permits and inspections, make payments, submit proposals, and collaborate with city planners and other officials through the online portal.
