Posted on: November 2, 2016[ARCHIVED] Early Morning Crash Injures Two Drivers
Fishers, (Indiana) – Fishers police are investigating an early morning crash, on Brook School Road, which sent two people to the hospital.
Shortly before 6:00am the Hamilton County Dispatch Center received several 911 calls regarding a serious crash on Brooks School Road between Aldenham Boulevard and Club Point Drive. When Fishers police arrived they found the crash involved a 2006 Saturn Ion passenger car and a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
Based on evidence and statements from the drivers it appears the Saturn was traveling northbound and may have traveled left of center striking the southbound Chevrolet head-on. The driver of the Saturn suffered serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to an area hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries and was transported by ground ambulance by the Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
At this time it does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a role in this crash. Brooks School Road was closed for approximately two hours.
