This afternoon at approximately 1:26pm Fishers police officers were dispatched to a crash involving a pedestrian and a Toyota Prius. The crash occurred in the 15300 block of Charbono Street (Britton Falls Neighborhood). Officers arrived to find the pedestrian trapped under the Prius. They attempted to lift the car off of the pedestrian. Paramedics from the Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim deceased.
Crash Investigators and Evidence Technicians responded to interview witnesses and collect evidence. The driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with Investigators.
The crash remains under investigation, however at this time it does not appear that drugs or alcohol contributed to this crash.
