August 25, 2023

 

Fishers, (Indiana):   On 08/24/2023 at approximately 11:27 PM a Fishers Police Officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a black Kia passenger car near E. 116th Street and Allisonville Road for running a red light and having a false and fictitious license plate.  The vehicle initially stopped then fled as the officer approached.  The vehicle turned off its lights and turned into a neighborhood near Easy Street and Allisonville Road.  The officer lost sight of the vehicle during the pursuit.  

 

At approximately 11:34 PM dispatch advised they had received a 911 call from a home in the 11100 block of Easy Street reporting a vehicle had crashed into their home injuring an occupant.  Fishers Fire and Emergency Services technical rescue team responded, made the building safe, and treated the injured resident.  One resident was transported to the hospital.

 

The suspect is believed to have fled the scene on foot.  The area was searched but officers were unable to locate the driver.

 

The investigation into this incident is on-going.
