(Fishers, Indiana) – The Fishers Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday afternoon.

Shortly before 4pm on October 23rd, Fishers police officers responded to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of 116th Street and Olio Road. Upon their arrival, emergency crews located two vehicles, a 2017 white Jeep Wrangler and a 2022 Black Yamaha motorcycle. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Fishers Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the crash. Based on evidence collected at the scene and witness statements it appears the Jeep was traveling northbound on Olio Road and the Yamaha was southbound on Olio at the time of the crash. At this time drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash. This crash remains under investigation.
