Fishers Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that residents of all ages will be sledding down the new 60 foot hill this winter! The community is invited to a free, grand opening ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the new facility. Light refreshments will be served as attendees enjoy music and the public explores the new park, which offers beautiful sights to see. The facility houses natural trails for hiking, a 1.25 progressive mountain bike course, a fishing pond and three tree houses, one of which is ADA accessible. Open from dawn to dusk daily, the park provides opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature exploration.
