[ARCHIVED] 4th Annual J&J Winery Blues Fest Returns to Fishers’ Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater is the place to be this Labor Day weekend! The 4th Annual Blues Fest returns this year with two free nights of music on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3.

The festival features 10 local acts, including:

Friday, Sept. 2 | 7 p.m.

Doug Henthorn
Hurricane Ruth
Arthur James
The Ambassadors
Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel

Saturday, Sept. 3 | 6 p.m.
Bullet Proof Sound
Stormcellar
On Cue
The Ambassadors
Rev Charlie and Carson Dierslihng
Gene Deer

This year’s event will honor local blues musician, Gene Deer. Deer is known as Indiana’s “Blues Man” playing more than 250 shows annually.

Patrons are welcome to bring personal coolers into the venue or purchase from Neighborhood Pizza and J&J Winery on site. Be sure to bring your blankets or lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy a weekend full of great music and entertainment.
