The week has been full of exciting announcements in City Hall. Here’s a roundup of the happenings.
SteadyServ Announces Move to Fishers’ Nickel Plate District
On Tuesday, “the beer people with a thing for technology” announced plans to move and grow in the Nickel Plate District. SteadyServ Technologies offers a real-time draft beer inventory intelligence system that generates key insights to help businesses sell every last drop of beer. The company plans to lease the upper floor space in the new Spur Building, home to Four Day Ray Brewing and Restaurant at the corner of Lantern Road and North Street.

Citizens State Bank Plans Nickel Plate District Branch
On Wednesday, Citizens State Bank announced plans to open the Nickel Plate District’s first bank. The full-service branch will be located in The Switch at the corner of 116th Street and Municipal Drive. The new branch is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Central Indiana Orthopedics Plans MedTech Campus
On Thursday, Central Indiana Orthopedics announced a proposal for a MedTech Park that would include a medical campus located on 37 acres east of St. Vincent’s hospital in Fishers. The new, state-of-the-art facility will expand the company’s footprint in Hamilton County and include, among other services, a clinic, surgery center, imaging and physical therapy.

Indianapolis Airport Authority Greenlights Metropolitan Airport Master Plan
Today, the Indianapolis Airport Authority agreed to allow the City to move forward with a master plan to attract office and manufacturing development to non-aviation land at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport in Fishers.
