To say last week was a good one for CloudOne would be a gross understatement. We had the wonderful distinction of being named No. 4 on the Fast 25, the Indianapolis Business Journal’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing companies in the Indianapolis area and announced that we had exceeded our 2015 revenue goal six months ahead of schedule. But, the icing on the cake came when we had the pleasure of announcing that CloudOne was relocating its global headquarters to downtown Fishers.

CloudOne works in the emerging category of technology called the Internet of Things (IoT). Simply put, CloudOne takes elements of our customer’s existing software and system infrastructure, converts it into cloud services and manages it as customized, on-demand Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Those elements began with embedded software development and grew to plant operations, maintenance operations, business process management, integration busses, big data and analytics connected to telemetry data. We weave these together to create our customers’ platform for the Internet of Things.

To do this type of work, it is imperative we have a creative workspace conducive to collaboration and reflective of our company’s culture. We are proving that you don’t need to move to Silicon Valley to launch and grow a successful tech business. The Nickel Plate District redevelopment is a catalyst for drawing innovative businesses and attracting creative, entrepreneurial talent. We are anxious to be a part of the emerging tech ecosystem in Fishers. CloudOne will occupy the entire third floor space in The Switch and our team looks forward to moving in this fall as well as welcoming approx. 60 new full-time Indiana resident employees by 2019.
