How to Pay Your Bill

Fishers Utilities customers have multiple ways to pay their sewer bill: 

  1. Via mail: mail your check, Payable to Fishers Sewer Utility, to P.O. Box 426, Indianapolis, IN 46206 along with the remittance coupon located on the bottom third of your statement. No convenience fee applies.
  2. Via phone: Call 317-792-5026 to make your payment by credit card only. Please note that there is a $3.45 processing fee.
  3. Via online: visit fishers.in.us/utilitypay and access your online account to pay via credit card or e-check. A $2.95/transaction convenience fee applies to all credit card payments. A $1.95 fee convenience fee applies to all e-checks.
    1. Via EFT or ACH: Access your online account at fishers.in.us/utilitypay. No convenience fee applies. 
    2. One-time Credit Card payment online: Access your account at fishers.in.us/utilitypay. A $2.95 fee applies.
  4. Via bank or credit union: use your financial institution's bill pay services. Processing payments through your financial institution will add additional processing time for payments due to bank processing. Convenience fees will be determined by your financial institution.
  5. Via in-person: visit the City Services Building at 3 Municipal Dr. to pay by cash only. City Services is open M-F 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Excluding holidays.

Billing Timeline

Residential

For former HSE Utilities customers: Fishers Utilities bills the property owner unless the property is tenant-occupied. This bill comes monthly directly to the property address on record per the Hamilton County Assessor's Office.  All start-stop forms will be processed prior to the billing cycle to ensure up-to-date recipients. Residential sewer bills are processed and mailed by mid-month. 

For Fishers Utilities customers (prior to 1/1/22): Fishers Utilities bills property owners monthly. This bill comes directly to property owners on record per the Hamilton County Assessor's Office. All start-stop forms will be processed prior to the billing cycle to ensure up-to-date recipients. Residential sewer bills are processed and mailed by mid-month. 

Commercial 

For former HSE Utilities customers: Commercial sewer and/or FOG service is billed monthly. The bill is tied to the tenant. If you are the property owner, it is your responsibility to pay Fishers Utilities. Tenants should contact property owners with questions or concerns. 

For Fishers Utiltiies customers (prior to 1/1/22): Fishers Utilities bills property owners monthly. This bill comes directly to property owners on record per the Hamilton County Assessor's Office. All start-stop forms will be processed prior to the billing cycle to ensure up-to-date recipients. Commercial sewer bills are processed and mailed at the beginning of the month.
