Free COVID-19 Testing for All Hoosiers
The Fishers Health Department (FHD), in coordination with the Indiana Department of Health, has opened additional COVID-19 testing capacity at its testing site located at 3 Municipal Drive. All Hoosiers ages 5+ are eligible for testing.
You must schedule an appointment for free drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the Fishers City Services Building located at 3 Municipal Drive. Please arrive at your specified appointment date and time to avoid delays and assure accuracy and efficiency for contact tracers in determining isolation and quarantine timelines.
Due to the current volume of requests, we are prioritizing tests ages 5 -18 years old. Other requests are processed in the order in which they are received, and may take up to 24 hours for scheduling. Scheduling may be an additional 24 hours or more due to high demand. We currently have SAME DAY or NEXT DAY self-scheduling options for PCR tests available here.
Fishers residents and students of Fishers schools can use Fishers Residents & Schools for PCR testing with a slightly faster turn-around time. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee a specific time frame for result turn-around. Most results are returned in less than 3 days.
If you are testing due to close or direct contact to COVID-19, we recommend that you choose an appointment 5 days from the date of your last exposure to the infected individual.
If you are symptomatic, you may be asked if you would like the BinaxNOW test in addition to the regular state testing. Schedule your test under "All Hoosiers". If you are eligible, the testers at the testing site will ask if you are interested in the BinaxNOW test.
Testing is available for multiple people in the same car, but please ensure that everyone being tested completes the entire registration for faster service and to allow us to serve more residents.

Test Result Turnaround
Test results are typically available in 3 business days, however, with the demand across the country for testing, we are anticipating an increase in testing turnaround times. We cannot guarantee any specific turnaround time for purposes of travel or other needs. The Fishers Health Department does not recommend gathering with those outside of your immediate household at this time.
If you receive a positive test and complete your quarantine, you do not need to be tested again for 90 days. Please reach out to your PCP and get a letter stating you can return to work/school.
Where Do I Go to Get Tested?
The City of Fishers COVID Testing Sites are ADA Accessible. Wheelchair accessible taxis and vehicles are able to come to the drive-thru testing site and the testing crew on-site will assist to ensure the testing can be completed successfully.
Please keep your pets secure while attendants are near the car to ensure ease of testing.

Testing for Children Ages 5+
Prior to bringing a young child for testing, parents and guardians are encouraged to watch the video with their child about the testing process to prepare them for the testing procedure.

The Fishers Health Department has lowered the age for testing as it anticipates a stronger demand for testing due to the return to in-person learning by Hamilton Southeastern School District on September 8 for grades Pre-K through fourth.
