Aug. 7, 2009
OLIO ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
104TH & 116TH St Intersections
Hamilton County is pleased to announce that the reconstruction of the intersection at 104th St. and Olio Rd. is nearly complete and the full intersection will be opened to traffic at 3:00 PM today.
The Hamilton County Highway Dept. will also be making some modifications to the intersection at 116th and Olio Rd. Crews will be at the intersection on Monday, August 10th to modify the lane markings and the traffic signals to provide additional capacity for those turning left from 116th St. onto northbound Olio Rd. This modification will result in two lanes being available for left turns. The current eastbound through lane will become a combination left turn/through lane. Additional signage will also be installed as soon as the signs are received from the fabricator. These modifications are being expedited to accommodate the increased traffic from the 126th St closure and the anticipated traffic when school starts.
Please contact me with any questions.
Have a great day!
