Salary Range: $20.07 - $24.09 Hourly, $36,533.00 - $43,840.00 Annually

Location: Public Works Garage, Fishers, Indiana

Position Description
If you are a self-motivated problem solver whose passions are efficiencies and organization then this is the position for you. The City Fishers Department of Public Works is seeking candidates with a technical background to assist our Park, Street, and Facility Maintenance Divisions with data driven decision making.

The Business Process Coordinator is responsible for managing and communicating all processes related to centralizing data from work order management system, GIS mapping including organizing and managing all related data. As a part of this role, key initiatives will be creating SOP's, reporting, dashboards and assembling analytical data from multiple sources into a usable/visual form.

Example of Duties
  • Prepare reports and present data on asset usage, financial performance, operations, and maintenance, often delivered to non-technical staff and management
  • Creating and updating work orders per department processes
  • Ensure normalization and accuracy of data across the enterprise
  • Customized SQL Reporting
  • Learn and provide EAM training and documentation
  • GIS mapping

Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred; MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, Outlook, with proven skills creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets; Proficient in the use of personal computers and peripheral equipment; Experience creating SQL Queries; Critical thinking and reasoning skills; Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple priorities; Excellent attention to detail; Strong interpersonal skills; Ablilty to perform effectively with minimal supervision;
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
