Office Manager - IT
Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $20.07 - $24.09 Hourly

Location: Fishers City Hall, Fishers, Indiana

Position Description:

In today's world, information technology (IT) is the lifeblood of almost every organization. The City of Fishers is no different, with the IT Department connecting the right technology with the talented staff of people serving our community. The Office Manager is responsible for managing the administrative operations of the IT Department, performing a wide range of support functions including: purchasing; preparing reports; scheduling; record keeping; preparing claims/invoices; and other secretarial duties. Position will serve as a point of contact for outside vendors and other City departments, handling requests for information and general inquiries. Position is also involved with department accounting and budgetary responsibilities. The Office Manager works closely with the Director of IT providing assistance in managing large projects, as well as day-to-day workload obligations. 

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree; 2-4 years of related work experience; Education and/or work experience in IT related industry preferred; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook software, particularly Excel; Microsoft Sharepoint experience preferred; Understanding of basic principles of accounting; Professional verbal and written communication skills; Highly organized; Ability to work independently; Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
