If you have difficulty reading your ticket, please feel free to contact our office at 317-588-1433.  If you are charged with a state statute violation (Infraction), you will need to contact the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office. Eligibility is determined by the Prosecutor’s Office on a case-by-case basis. Please call the infraction deferral office at 317-770-8860 or visit The Hamilton County Deferral Program website. Have your ticket in hand as you will need to provide information from it.

Violations Eligible for Deferral Program:
  • Speeding 1-25 mph over posted limit
  • Disregarding Automatic Signal
  • Disregarding Traffic Control Device
  • Disregarding Stop Sign
  • Failure to Yield Right of Way
  • Failure to Signal
  • Following too Closely
  • Improper Lane Usage
  • Improper Passing
  • Improper Turn
  • Muffler Violation
  • Unsafe Lane Movement
  • Unsafe Start
