Blast on the Bridge
Blast on the Bridge Blast on the Bridge is the place to be for a Fourth of July celebration! Join us on Monday, July 4 on the Geist Bridge beginning at 5 p.m. for an unforgettable night with family and friends. The bridge closes to traffic at 4 p.m. and opens to the public at 5 p.m., so be sure to arrive early! Food, beverages and spirits will be available for purchase while children enjoy games and activities. A live DJ will spin some of summer's top hits emceed by Tom Britt, publisher of TownePost Network, Inc. Be sure to stick around, the event ends with a beautiful firework show!

Interested in volunteering? Blast on the Bridge would not be possible without volunteers helping to ensure the event goes smoothly! Residents ages 16 and older can choose from one of two volunteer shifts to ensure they don't miss out on the Independence Day celebration.

Shifts are available from:
3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and
7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Each volunteer received a free t-shirt for participating and a meal will be provided during your shift. Fishers Parks & Recreation would also be happy to sign off on any community service hours for social/service clubs, high school requirements or similar opportunities. Contact Dan Domsic via email or by phone at (317) 595-3151 to sign up, today!
