We encourage the public to visit our fire stations, learn about protecting themselves from fire and injury, and get to know how the Fishers Fire Department strives to make our community safer. You'll find links to department programs and outside resources to the right and below.

The message of fire and injury prevention isn't just for kids! We enjoy visiting children at schools and preschools to teach them how to escape a fire, but...

...Preschool children and the elderly are at the highest risk for being killed in a fire. Parents are the key to survival for children too young to understand how to react in the event of a fire in their home.

If your neighborhood association, church or any group of adults is interested in a little deeper discussion about your safety and the safety of your children, please contact us to arrange a presentation.

We can connect you to educational presentations and programs for the following subjects and more:
  • CPR / First Aid
  • Fire Prevention & Safety
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Water Safety in and around your home
  • Disaster Preparedness
