Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)Police Officer Teaching about DARE
The Fishers Police Department D.A.R.E. Program started with Hamilton Southeastern Schools in 1991. The curriculum is taught at the fifth and seventh grade levels. The department is also looking into the high school curriculum so that the students will be exposed to the message the D.A.R.E. program teaches three times before graduation from high school.
