"Our mission is to provide experiences that enhance quality of life through play and discovery."
Established in 1990, the Fishers Parks & Recreation Department was developed to address the growing needs of town residents, and to work with citizens to establish a variety of amenities for people to enjoy. Working with the Fishers Town Council and the Fishers Park Advisory Committee, the department currently offers twelve developed parks totaling 395 acres, five undeveloped sites totaling 152 acres, and over 65 miles of multi-purpose trail - all with a variety of uses.
