131st Street and S.R. 37
The Town of Fishers is adding an eastbound left turn lane from 131st Street onto S.R. 37. The Town will also be adding an additional thru lane across S.R. 37. These additions will allow traffic to move more smoothly at the intersection and allow for more stacking capacity.

141st Street and S.R. 37
The Town of Fishers is adding an eastbound right turn lane and westbound right turn lane from 141st Street onto S.R. 37. These additions will allow traffic to move more smoothly at the intersection and allow for more stacking capacity.

96th Street and Allisonville Road
The Town of Fishers hopes to improve the traffic at this intersection by installing a Median U-Turn, also known as a Michigan Left. For further information on this improvement, please click here.

131st Street and Lantern Road
The Town will be improving this intersection by installing a roundabout. Roundabouts efficiently move traffic and help prevent gridlock.
Clearing of the Right-of-Way is set to begin the week of July 11, 2011. This clearing is being done so the utility companies can begin the relocation of their facilities. Construction of the roundabout will begin once all of the utilities have been relocated.

Hague Road Lift Station Upgrade
In order to maintain an efficient flow of waste water to the waste water treatment plant, improvements and upgrades must be made to aging lift stations.

LED Street Light Replacements
The Town of Fishers has received an Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant for this project. LED street lights should improve the Towns lighting system, they are lower in energy consumption, more durable and reliable, and last longer than normal street lights. This project will encompass the replacement of all the Town owned street lights which will be replaced with energy efficient lights.

Path Construction
This project involves the design and construction of multi-use trails that will accommodate a variety of leisure generated activities while enhancing opportunities for non-motorized travel throughout the community. This project will add several miles to the already 60 miles of trail that currently exists. The Trails Master Plan proposes a trail system of over 100 miles, and that when completed, will serve as the basis for a pedestrian-bicyclist oriented network of interconnecting trails that link parks, neighborhoods, schools and other community places. The trail system is viewed as a valuable resource aimed at creating, enhancing, and sustaining the health and vitality of the Fishers community.
