Crime Watch

A Crime Watch Program offers a small group of neighboring households the ability to share a protective concern within their community.  A Crime Watch Program is a defensive strategy rather than an offensive strategy.  This includes identifying the precise patterns of crime in that particular neighborhood, then acting in conjunction with the Fishers Police Department to reduce ones own risk, as well as the risk of each neighbor.

The Fishers Police Department has many active crime watch neighborhoods.  If you are interested in starting a crime watch program in your neighborhood, please contact Sergeant Randy McFarland, mcfarlandr@fishers.in.us or (317) 595-3300.  Volunteer participation from neighbors is required for this program to be successful.
