Welcome to the Town of Fishers Fire Department website. The men and women of the Fishers Fire Department are proud of the outstanding service we provide to our residents and visitors to our town. We invite you to not only visit our five fire stations but also to visit and stay in our award-winning town.

The Fishers Fire Department began the transition to a full-career department in 1989. In that time, we have progressed from an all-volunteer department to having more than 120 career fire fighters/paramedics. We provide service to more than 50-plus square miles of single and multiple-family dwellings as well as clean industrial and high-end technology parks.

The Fishers Fire Department has the distinction of being the one of the first nationally accredited Fire Departments in the state of Indiana. We provide not only standard fire and rescue service, public education, and inspections, but also other specialty disciplines such as technical rescue, for confined space, high angle, building collapse and trench collapse. We also provide water rescue, hazardous materials response, and ALS & BLS emergency medical service.

In addition, with today's growing Homeland Security challenges, we are proud that we have trained personnel in the most up-to-date National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance training. We take pride in being leaders in our fields of expertise in our local jurisdiction and across the state of Indiana. Please feel free to contact us for visits or information about our services.
