  1. Nickel Plate Arts Presents: Process: Exploring the Healing Power of Art

    Each month, Nickel Plate Arts hosts an exhibit showcasing the works of our talented local artists. The exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours, Wednesday - Friday from Noon - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our March exhibit will take a look at art as a way to tackle tough emotions, grief, and mental health. “Process: Exploring the Healing Power of Art” will provide a look into how art can do just that. Join us for our opening reception on Friday, March 1 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. as we celebrate outstanding artwork with live music, refreshments, and drinks. More info:

  2. March Disability Awareness Month: Movie Showing of “Intelligent Lives”

    March 26, 2019, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Fishers High School Auditorium

    Join us for a movie showing of "Intelligent Lives" presented by the Ball State University Department of English Immersion Learning Course, Disability Representation in Children's & Young Adult Literature. Award-winning filmmaker, Dan Habib, follows the lives of three young adults with intellectual disabilities who challenge the perceptions of intelligence while navigating high school, college, and the workforce in the 70-minute documentary. A discussion will follow the film. This film is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

    PlayFULL Hours are expanding to offer even more fun for ages 1 to 5! This year, little ones can explore their world with different activities and unstructured play every week. These activities require parent participation and include a chance for parents to socialize, too! No advanced registration is required.
