    St. George Festival presents a heritage of faith, hospitality, good food, music and crafts from our roots in the Holy Land and the cultures that make up our congregation. The family-oriented festival includes food booths offering lamb shanks, falafel, gyros, kibbee, kafta, spinach pies, grape leaves, desserts and pastries, honey balls. Take a guided tour of the church’s unique architecture and Greek iconography and learn about the Orthodox Christian faith. Enjoy a live band, entertainment and merchant booths featuring jewelry, art and icons, olive wood crafts, and groceries. A children’s carnival on the front lawn will include bounce houses and other fun activities.

We honor the memory of SLDM teacher, Shannon O'Malia Hall, with this event for her zest for life, her positive outlook on all she encountered, her passion for running, and her continued contribution to our community. A portion of all registrations will provide support to her sons through a donation to the Connor and Danny Hall Trust Fund, while the overall proceeds from the Fall Festival will are contributed to the St. Nicholas Fund which helps families in need. Your registration fee includes a race timer, bib, t-shirt, and goodie bag. All registered participants will receive a coupon for one free beverage of choice at the Fall Festival later in the day. T-shirt size and availability cannot be guaranteed for late and day-of event registration.
