Saxony Lake and Beach is closed for the season.

Saxony Beach is open to the public from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Hours of operation will be reduced during the months of August and September, as staff completes or returns to school. Please check the schedule on this page before planning your visit at the beginning and end of the season. The beach is free to Fishers residents, and nonresidents are welcome to visit, but will be asked to pay a $1 fee per guest.

A destination facility, Saxony Lake & Beach offers residents a chance to feel sand beneath their toes. This site features a 20 acre lake and a 300 ft. beach made from Indiana sand. Little ones are welcome to build a sandcastle or swim in the water during sunny summer days. Don’t forget your beach toys and towels during your getaway at Saxony Lake & Beach!

Food trucks frequently stop by, but residents are also permitted to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy during their visit.  New temporary restrooms have been installed in the beach area (Saxony Hall restrooms will not be available for beach use and are for Saxony Hall events only).

Additional programming is offered on the beach through the Fishers Parks & Recreation Department.

Each person 16 years and older must complete the sign in sheet and waiver onsite.

2017 Summer Hours:

Saxony Lake and Beach is open 7 days a week from May 27-July 31.  Beginning on July 31 through Labor Day Weekend, Saxony Lake and Beach will be open on weekends only.
