The Fishers Police Department operates on a 4-step pay scale. Each step represents a year of law enforcement experience.

Lateral officers will be brought on at the appropriate step for their total law enforcement experience.

The following numbers reflect the 2024 approved salary ordinance: 

  • Step 1    $65,792
  • Step 2    $68,164
  • Step 3    $70,615
  • Step 4    $79,836

In addition to the previously mentioned steps, the Fishers Police Department offers additional incentive pay for Detective, Dive Team, Emergency Response Team, Evidence Technician, Field Training Officer, and Paramedic.
